Law, Natural Environment and Resources, and The Discourses of National Law Development
The book honestly expresses my personally academic journey in the world of law science since performing myself as lecturer at Faculty of Law Brawijaya University of Malang, East Java, Indonesia starting from in 1980. This was a very hard works towards the maturity of academic life and experiences. It needs to inform that the initiative to publish those mentioned articles and my papers in the form of book was due to the encouragement of students and colleagues at the Faculty of Law with the single purpose of sharing my ideas and opinion as well as critical analysis directed to the legal normative and empirical phenomena in the implementation of national development of Indonesia. The book aims to answer the fundamental questions on how the Government should develop the national law particularly of policy and legislation establishment in the multicultural country of Indonesia with special reference to the living environment and resources law preservation that reflects environmentally-sound development and the protection of traditional adat people and community rights over natural resources in the regions by employing what the so called legal anthropology point of view. In addition, the book includes other legal issues that relate to high legal educational reform and the national development and other field of law namely the development of labor law reform based on The ILO Core Conventions.
